Highly compact FA-128 crystal

With FA-128, Epson Toyocom offers especially compact SMD quartz for the frequency range of 24 to 50 MHz. Despite its very small size of just 2x1.6 mm, the FA-128 has excellent electrical parameters.

The miniature quartz is available in two tolerance versions: 10 ppm for applications as an RF reference and 30 ppm for applications as a clock generator in microcontroller systems. Furthermore, the FA-128 has very favorable values with regard to the temperature sensitivity characteristics and series resistance. The permissible operating temperature range is -40°C° to +85°C.

Typical spheres of application are mobile devices such as cellular phones, PDAs, digital cameras and camcorders. The essential features:
